What information do you need to access CAPE results?
In order to access your CAPE results via the CXC student portal you need to have the following information:
Centre Number where you wrote examinations
Candidate Number - the 10 digit number on your candidate slip/examination timetable (note: if you are a repeat candidate your candidate number maybe the same number that was used when you last wrote examination).
Birth Certificate - If you some reason you have misplaced, not received or for some other reason don't have you Candidate number, you can substitute it with the number on your birth certificate instead. (Note: This only applies to the new computerized birth certificates issued by the government of your country. Please note however, this option does not work for person who are citizens of non-Caribbean countries example US birth certificate numbers).
Last Name - Enter your last name as written on your examination slip / timetable (Note: if there is an error however, in the spelling of your name on your candidate slip / examination timetable you may need to enter your name the way it is spelled on your slip / timetable and not the correct spelling. You should seek to have the misspelling corrected as soon as possible before results certificates are released with the misspelled name).
First Name: Enter your first name as written on your examination slip / timetable (Note: if there is an error however, in the spelling of your name on your candidate slip / examination timetable you may need to enter your name the way it is spelled on your slip / timetable and not the correct spelling. You should seek to have the misspelling corrected as soon as possible before results certificates are released with the misspelled name).
Period - Select the year / time period (January or May/June exams) / type of exam (CSEC, CCSLC or CAPE) (Note: Examination results are usually only kept on the student portal for ONLY 6 months to 1 year after results are released).
